Mary Ann Hawk resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at her home. She was born November 15, 1936 in Bassett, California to the late Gladys W. Kanady and Mable Anise (Gibson) Kanady. She was 73 years old.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hawk and brother, Dennis Kanady.
She was a homemaker, member of the Little Creek Country Club in Ratcliff and member of the St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Ratcliff.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 19th at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Koci of Van Buren; one sister, Eulema O'Neal of Ratcliff; one granddaughter, Desiree Valencia of Fort Smith; two great- grandchildren, Hunter & Peyton Canfield and two adopted grandchildren, Garrett Bottoms and Jennifer Brey.
Pallbearers will be Larry Bottoms, Garrett Bottoms, Trey Brey, Jimmy Stubblefield, and Kathy Koci.
Family visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
