Chong Xiong, who resided near Scranton, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born December 8, 1950, in Xieng Khouang, Laos to his father and mother, Xia Kao Xiong and Youa Vang. He was 65 years old.

Chong had worked for Tyson Foods, Inc.

Funeral services will begin Friday, April 8th, at 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. Saturday services will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a 12:00 p.m. graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his children, True Maly Xiong, Ntxhiav Malia Xiong, Ntxhi Judy Xiong, Seng Sue Xiong, Shoua Jenie Xiong, Tswjhum Elisha Xiong, Joshua Xiong, Elijah Xiong, and Ntxhoo Jully Xiong; his brothers and sisters, Maiyia, Poug X. Siriratuasuk, Nyia Toua, WaDoua, KaMoua, Chao Song Xiong, and Pachay Xiong.
