Wilma Ruth Parsons, who resided near Subiaco, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 in Russellville, Arkansas. She was born March 25, 1951 in Paris, Arkansas to the late Elvin Sory and Nettie Marie (Schouweiler) Sory. She was 63 years old.

Wilma was a home health aide for Paris Health Department. She was a 1969 graduate of Scranton High School. She was very active in the children's department and member of Midway Assembly of God.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 10th, at Assembly of God Church in Midway. Burial will be at Horne Cemetery, located south of Midway, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Larry Parsons; one daughter, Lori Howard and husband Wes of Paris; one son, Eric Parsons and wife Taunya of Caulksville; two brothers, James Sory and wife Joann and Larry Sory and wife Virginia, all of Scranton; three grandchildren, Will and Briar Howard and Shae Parsons.

Pallbearers will be Ron Rhinehart, Gary Horne, Don Parker, Michael Parsons, Lambert Vogelpohl, and Dewey Daniel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Davison, Carlton Robinson, Lindell Parsons, Wesley White, and the Midway Assembly of God Adult Sunday School Class.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
