Willie Gray White

Willie Gray White, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. He was born on June 15, 1962, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late William Gray Johnson and Lula Ellingburg White. He was 64 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Patricia Booker, Otha Armstrong, David Armstrong (Jerry Mae), and David White.

Lil Doug never met a stranger. Whenever he saw you, he had a way of making you feel like a long-lost friend. More than anything, he loved his family and friends. He cherished the time he spent with the people he cared about. In his free time, Lil Doug enjoyed fishing, watching sports—especially football—and relaxing with a good western. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by two sisters, Barbara Armstrong of Barling, Arkansas and Christie Johnson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three brothers, Gerald White of Palo Alto, California, Michael White of Boley, Oklahoma, and WM Corey Johnson, Sr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; an uncle, T.J. of Altus, Oklahoma; two aunts, Eliose Vernon of Texas and Aunt Donna Ruth of Altus, Oklahoma; a nephew, Willie Ray Armstrong of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a niece, Sharon Good and husband Andre of Fort Smith, Arkansas; and a slew of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
