William Wesley Martin, who resided in Bloomer, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at his home. He was born December 5, 1979 in Memphis, Tennessee to David Martin and Frances (Thompson) Lyle. He was 34 years old.
William was an Army veteran of the Iraqi War. He worked in construction and was affiliated with First Assembly of God Church in Charleston.
Graveside service with "Military Honors" will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13th, at Parks Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Frances Lyle and Marshall White of Bloomer; his father and step-mother, David and Teresa Martin of Petersburg, Virginia; two sisters, Amanda Nicks of Petersburg, Virginia and Roslyn Lyle of Bloomer; one brother, Kevin Martin and wife LeeAndrea of Forks, Washington; two nieces, Lillie Martin and Audrie Nicks and two nephews, Alex Martin and Bobby Nicks; his aunt, Alisa Hamilton; and cousins, T.J., Austin, and Chris Hamilton.
Pallbearers will be Mark White, Danny McDonald, Curtis May, John Paul Gramlich, Jason Root, Josh White, and Austin Hamilton.
Family will visit with friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home.
