Obituary
William Arthur Jeffrey, III resided in New Blaine, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2009, at his home. He was born October 22, 1960 in Fall River, Massachusetts to William A. Jeffrey, Jr. and Barbara Ruth Bowles Jeffrey. He was 48 years old.
Bill was a lifetime truck driver working for several companies. He was very proud of his heritage and enjoyed participating in Civil War reenactments. He loved the outdoors, fishing, & hunting and horses. He was a former member of the Acushnet Fire Department.
The body was cremated under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral in Paris.
Memorial service will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at the Grace Episcopal Church County Street in New Bedford, Massachusetts, under the direction of Rock Funeral Home in New Bedford.
Burial of cremains will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.
He is survived by his father & mother, Rev. & Mrs. William A. Jeffrey, Jr. of Safety Harbor, Florida; two brothers, Mark R. Jeffrey of New Bedford, MA. and Philip H. Jeffrey of Castleton, VT; a daughter, Mrs. Janelle Massaro of Weymouth, MA; a niece, aunt, uncle and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Acushnet Fire Fighters Association @ 24 Russell Street Acushnet, MA.
