William Merton Aker, Jr. of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on July 11, 1960, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, to the late William Merton Aker, Sr. and Judith Elaine (Mullins) Aker. He was 64 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Debbie Landon.

He is survived by two sisters, Robin Lovett of Fort Smith and Teresa Brazelton of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Mike Finney of Dallas, Texas.
