Wayne Allen Sweeten

Wayne Allen Sweeten of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026, at his home. He was born on January 4, 1973, in Los Angeles, California, to Donald William Sweeten and Dorothy G. (Lockey) Sweeten. He was 53 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, and his wife, Shannon (Buxton) Sweeten.

Wayne was a carpenter.

He is survived by two daughters, Amber Buxton and Melissa Buxton; two sons, Mark Buxton and Kyle Buxton; his mother, Dorothy Sweeten; a sister, Shirley Sweeten; and three grandchildren.
