Wanda Adams Shoemake of Paris, Arkansas, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017, in Neosho, Missouri. She was born August 6, 1929, in Weleetka, Oklahoma near Oklahoma City, to the late Joseph Clayton Adams and Allie (Griffin) Adams. She was 87 years old. She was the wife of the late, Billy Shoemake of Paris.
Wanda lived many years in Paris and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25th, at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by three children, Cindy Sanders of Neosho, Missouri, Stan Shoemake of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Sally Reed of Centerton, Arkansas. Wanda has six grandchildren.
A visitation will be held for friends and family of Wanda on Wednesday, January 25th, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home, located at 2200 E. Walnut Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Paris, the church Wanda loved so much.
