Wanda Kay Scallions, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012 at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. She was born November 23, 1942 in Paris to Thomas Phillips and Clida (Krigbaum) Phillips. She was 69 years old.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Phillips and two brothers.
Wanda was a retired waitress and attended the Assembly of God in Paris.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29th at the Assembly of God in Paris, with Rev. Kenny Maness officiating. Burial will be at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Leon Scallions; three daughters, Vicki Churchman and husband John of Paris, Sheila Nehus and husband Xavier of Benton and Missy Stubblefield and husband Alan of Paris; one son, Mike Sheridan of Olney, Illinois; her mother, Clida Phillips of Paris; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be A.J. Churchman, Cody Goldsmith, Bubba Scallions, David Rice, Brady Roberds, Keith Kilburn, and Caleb Nehus.
Honorary Pallbearers will be all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.
