Wanda (Maddox) Roberts of Mena, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2023, in Van Buren, Arkansas. She was born on April 8, 1931, in Ink, Arkansas, to the late George and Willie Mos.  She was 91 years old.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Roberts; her parents; her brothers; Jimmy, G.W. and Sonny Mos; and a daughter, Georgia.

Wanda was raised on a farm in the Ink Community and lived in Waldron or Mena for most of her life. She went to school in Cherry Hill and later in life completed her GED and then graduated from cosmetology school. She enjoyed traveling and had the opportunity to see almost all the United States and also she traveled to France, England, Canada, Mexico, and the Virgin Islands . Wanda loved Elvis and saw him live on stage, twice. She always cheered on the Razorbacks every opportunity given.  Her hobbies included doing crafts, decorating and sewing all bringing her joy. She was a homemaker, a caretaker of many and a really Great Granny.  Wanda was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Nowell and husband Don; her son, Doug Maddox and wife Cher; her sisters, Sally Henry, Deloris Pence, and Alba Ayers; her brothers, Wendell and J.D. Mos; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
