Walter James Felt, Sr., who resided in Fort Smith, died Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born June 27, 1938, in Imperial, Nebraska, to the late Glen E. Felt and Viola Edwina (Deselms) Felt. He was 81 years old. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lori Adair.

Walter was a retired farm hand, and he served his country in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Berndt) Felt; three daughters, Mary Reynolds, Scherri Stultz, and Edwina Russell and husband Richard, all of Fort Smith; three sons, Walter Felt, Jr. of Fort Smith, Roger Felt of Drummond, Oklahoma, and Danny Felt of Fort Smith; one brother, Edward Felt of Straton, Nebraska; (19) grandchildren, (39) great-grandchildren, and (2) great-great-grandchildren.
