Wallace Dale Newman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Sunday, November 3, 2024, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on August 1, 1946, in Redding, California, to the late Willie Marvin Newman and Susan Dorothy (Forben) Newman. He was 78 years old.

Wallace was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sharon (Titsworth) Newman; his children, Renee Peraza, Lynette Bennett and Billy Newman; a brother, Marvin Newman; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
