Virginia Dare Wipf, formerly of South Dakota, resided in Barling, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith. She was born November 13, 1921 in Yale, South Dakota to the late Jake Glanzer and Mary Miller Glanzer. She was 87 years old.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Bethesda Mennonite Brethren Church in South Dakota.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at the Bethesda Mennonite Brethren Church with burial at Restlawn Memory Garden in South Dakota, under the direction of Kuhler Funeral Home in Huron, South Dakota.

She is survived by one son, Delbert Wipf & wife Alvetta, of Barling; two sisters, Ruth Hofer of Huron, South Dakota and Gloria Thiesen of Reedly, California; one grandson, Michael Wipf of Barling, Arkansas.

Family will visit with friends 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Brotherton Brothers Funeral in Charleston.
