Obituary

Virginia Louise White of Hackett, Arkansas, died Sunday, April 21, 2024, at her home. She was born on July 15, 1938, in Cecil, Arkansas, to the late Marvin Smith Price and Ruth Agusta (Evans) Price. She was 85 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Earl Ray White; her son, Kevin Ray White; and her brother, Tommy Price.

Virginia was a 1956 graduate of County Line High School. She was an assistant manager for Froug's Department Store in Fort Smith and faithful member of Hackett United Methodist Church. She loved her family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25th at Hackett United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Trent Null and Mr. Greg Werner officiating. Burial will follow at Cecil Cemetery in Cecil, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Buehrer and husband Mike, Cindy Gay Rankin, and Pam Carter and husband Rickey Boles, all of Hackett; her sister, Georgia Werner of Witcherville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and one great-great-grandson.

Pallbearers are Trey Nelson, Skyler Schalski, Bryan Schalski, Laine Harper, Josh Gordon, and Dennis Carter.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24th at the funeral home.
