Virginia Roberta Smith, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020, in Paris. She was born September 22, 1931, in West Branch, Iowa, to the late Frederick W. Boat and Harriet E. Reynolds Boat. She was 89 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Austin Smith.

Virginia was a retired accountant for Percival Manufacturing Company in Iowa. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and First Christian Church in Paris.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 10th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with the Rev. H.C. Varnadore officiating. A graveside service will be Friday, December 11th, at 3:00 p.m., at Maple Hill Cemetery, located in Osceola, Iowa, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Thompson and husband Mike of Paris, Linda Collins of Fort Smith, and Debra White and husband Bob of Paris; one son, Timothy Smith and wife Becky of Cleveland, Ohio; twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
