Vickie Mae Spicer, who resided near Scranton, Arkansas, went home to be the Lord on Friday, March 20, 2026, in Paris, Arkansas. She was born on July 27, 1959, in Russellville, Arkansas, to the late O.J. Spicer and Eula Mae (Council) Spicer. She was 66 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty Riley; her brother-in-law, Steve Fowler; her sister-in-law, Thelma Jean Spicer; and a nephew, Jared Fowler.
Vickie was a graduate of Scranton High School and grew up on a dairy and chicken farm near Scranton. In 1986, Vickie started working for Walmart in Paris and was employed for over 38 years. Vickie enjoyed cooking, baking, and crocheting. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Paris, and was a giving person who loved to help and do whatever was needed. She loved her family and friends very much and will be missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 24th at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Paris, with Bro. Jeremy Jones, Bro. Verlon Wood, and Bro. Kevin Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at McKendree Cemetery near Subiaco, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by her sister, Janet Fowler of Lavaca; her brother, Jim Spicer of Paris; her nieces and nephews, the late Jared Fowler and Kerri of Greenwood, Lora Cloyde and husband Tyler of Greenwood, Stephanie Ceniceros and husband Steve of Prairie Grove, Derek Spicer and wife Michele of Siloam Springs, and Tara Ezell and husband Eric of Dardanelle; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Pallbearers are Tyler Cloyde, Steve Ceniceros, Noah Ceniceros, Derek Spicer, Eric Ezell, James Spicer, and Mickey Butler.
Honorary pallbearers are Jim Spicer, Stan Spicer, and Walmart Associates Store #230.
