Velta Marie Whitley of Paris, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in her home. She was born October 8, 1952, in Paris, Arkansas, to Ted Lowery and Louannie Nelms Lowery. Velta was retired from Cloyes Gear Company and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband Clinton of the home; two daughters, Michelle Creager and Celeste Mayfield and husband Ronnie both of Paris, Arkansas;  her mother-in-law Kathy Whitley of Paris; one sister, Margaret Felker of Fort Smith; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her son Mike Griggsby and her grandson Jordan Mayfield.

The body will be cremated under the direction Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home of Paris, Arkansas.
