Velta Fay Duvall, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born October 25, 1944 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma to the late David Logan Hargus and Ollie (Ozman) Hargus. She was 71 years old. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leo Duvall; and one daughter, Brenda Kay Alcantar.
Velta was a homemaker and she was a Christian.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 30th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will be at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery, located south of Ozark, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by three daughters, Cynthia Wagner and husband David of Belleville, Arkansas, LaDonna Hargus and Kimberly Hargus, both of Oklahoma; two sons, Kevin Duvall and wife Delena of California and Gary Duvall of Oklahoma; one sister, Pauline of Oklahoma; two brothers, Ronnie Hargus and Tommy Hargus, both of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Wagner, Johnathon Canada, Barbara Temple, Ronald Keezer, and Blaine Duvall.
Family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
