Vanessa Sue Rowden, who resided in Alma, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at her home. She was born June 18, 1959, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Robert DePew and Charlene Boyett. She was 59 years old. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ashley Rowsey; her mother, Charlene Boyett; and a sister, Terry Richie.

Vanessa was a lifelong homemaker and home health aide.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Rowden; her children, Shelly, Mina, and Nima Rakhshani; two step-children, Ryan Lynn and Charity Lynn; her father, Robert DePew; a sister, LeeAnn Kusek; and eight grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services in Fort Smith.
