Urie Ann Jones, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born May 11, 1962, in Fort Smith to the late Elmer Lee Martin and Alneada Peggy (Shettle) Martin. She was 59 years old. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Aquita Cazares, a brother, Carl Martin, and two sisters, Margie and Marcella.

Urie was a homemaker.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery near Greenwood, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Vondal Davenport.

She is survived by her children, Dawn Jones of Russellville and Rena Elkins and husband Jerry of Greenwood; five grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jerry Elkins, Chris Patterson, Ethan Canoy, Joseph Reeves, and Roger Kemp.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
