Ty'anna "NuNu" Lewis, who resided in Fort Smith, passed away, Saturday, May 11, 2019, in Fort Smith.  She was born July 27, 1985, in New Orleans, Louisana, to Montresa Lewis-Jones and the late Irving Johnson, and raised by Preston Jones. She was 33 years old.

Ty'anna was a member of Holy Aid Baptist Church and sang in the choir. She was educated in the New Orleans Public School System and later attended job court where she received her GED. Ty'anna was employed by several employers in New Orleans, Van Buren, and Fort Smith. Ty'anna was also a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan.

Ty'anna was a well lived woman. Everyone who came in contact with her loved her smile, her sassiness, and character. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Besides beautiful memories, Ty'anna leaves behind Marc Allen Lewis; her mother, Montresa Lewis-Jones; a brother, Brandon Lewis; her step-father, Preston Jones; a nephew, Brandon Lewis, Jr.; four uncles, Terrell Lewis (Lori Bailey), Curl Lewis, Ronnie Lewis, and Terrance Lewis (Barbara Stewardt); her long-time friend, James Omast; her best friends, Natalie Brooks and Jayla Wilcox, and also a host of cousins and friends.

Cremation are arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Service in Fort Smith.
