Thomas Vincent Noel of Lavaca, Arkansas, died Saturday, September 14, 2024, at his home. He was born on July 9, 1951, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to the late Ben H. Noel and Vivian (Bradshaw) Noel. He was 73 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Elizabeth "Liz" (Graham) Noel.

Tommy was a retired captain and served 26 years for the Fort Smith Fire Department. For several years, he was the Fire Service Coordinator for Sebastian County, volunteer for 40 plus years, most of which he was Fire Chief for Big Creek Rural Fire Department, former E.M.T., Sebastian County Deputy Coroner, served 7 years in Army National Guard, and member of Lavaca First Baptist Church. Tommy loved his family, his community, and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 19th at Lavaca First Baptist Church, with Pastor Steven Smithson officiating. Burial will follow, with honors provided by Fort Smith Fire Department Honor Guard Team, at Oak Valley Cemetery, located south of Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his two sons, Jon Noel and Ashley and Ben Noel and wife Latisha, all of Lavaca; a sister, Marilyn Denman and husband Don of Mansfield ; six grandchildren, Maddox, Jakob, Hudson, Ava, Presley, and Vivienne; and one great-granddaughter, Everleigh Noel.

Pallbearers will the the Fort Smith Fire Department Honor Guard.

Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Shotzman, Mitch Evans, Dan Beshoner, Don Denman, Mike Burnett, and Danny Cross.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
