Tommy Gene Montgomery, who resided in Poteau, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020, at his home. He was born July 11, 1960, in Poteau, to the late J.F. Montgomery and Gracie (McClain) Montgomery. He was 60 years old.

Tommy was owner and operator of Tommy's Lawn Care Service. Tommy loved his family and he will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Karen (Oliver) Montgomery; his children, Dustin Montgomery of Rogers, Arkansas, Tommy Montgomery, Jr., Jeffrey Montgomery, and Amber Burnett and husband Haskell, all of Poteau; two brothers, Jerry Montgomery and Charles Montgomery, both of Poteau; a sister, Helen Sterling of Poteau; three grandchildren, Tinlei Montgomery, Blaze White, and Ely Burnett.
