Timothy Roger Chaffin, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 near Charleston in Franklin County. He was born January 7, 1975 in Modesto, California. He was 39 years old. Tim was preceded in death by one sister, Rhonda Chaffin.
Tim previously worked for Arklahoma Pipeline, Inc. in Dora and R & R Pipeline Construction Company in Central City. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a lot of interest in the military, and was a member of Bethel Full Gospel Church, located near Charleston.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Pastor Tony Bias officiating. Burial of cremains will be at Parks Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his wife, Pattie; his mother and step-father, Geneva and Clifford White, Sr. of Charleston; two step-daughters, Crystal Carter and Samantha Jones, both of Barling; one sister, Denise Hammon of Charleston; one brother, Clifford White, Jr. of San Diego, California; one granddaughter, Maggie Jones; one niece, Brittany Caples of Charleston; two newphews, Matthew Caples of Charleston and Joseph Endes of California.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Chaffin, David Woods, Matthew Caples, Clifford White, Sr., Clifford White, Jr., and Ricky Martin.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.
