Thomas Jimmie Bly of Mountain Pine, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.  He was born in Fresno, California, on August 7, 1944, to Lloyd William and Juanita Irene Cooper Bly.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Bly.

Thomas worked in the timber business for Weyerhaeuser Timber Co.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Shuffield of Mountain Pine; his son, Michael (Dawn) Bly of Greenwood, Arkansas; his grandchildren; Amy Sweet, Justin Shuffield, Bryan Bly, Stephanie Gauldin, Derek Hackney; his great-grandchildren, Abigail Sweet, Mia Gauldin, Gabriel Gauldin; and one great-grandchild on the way.
