Therona Rhodes Romine, who resided in Fort Smith, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019, at her home. She was born May 22, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jay D. Rhodes and Joyce Laverne Childs Rhodes. She was 51 years old.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13th, at First United Methodist Church in Fort Smith, with Dr. William D. "Bud" Reeves officiating, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services of Fort Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving son, Kevin Romine of Chicago, Illinois; her precious grandson, Aaden Romine of Chicago, Illinois; her precious, expected granddaughter, Tiana Romine of Chicago, Illinois; her loving father, Jay D. Rhodes of Fort Smith; her loving mother, Joyce Childs of Chicago, Illinois; four brothers,Juan Washington of Chicago, Illinois, Theodore "Teddy" Rhodes of Calumet City, Illinois, Steven Rhodes of Chicago, Illinois, and Jermaine Rhodes of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sisters, Kim Rhodes of Fort Smith and Keisha Rhodes of Dallas, Texas; three uncles, Felacie "Jake" Rhodes of Chicago, Illinois, Carl Rhodes of Aurora, Illinois, and Bobby Rhodes of Chicago, Illinois; three aunts, Beverly Davis of Chicago, Illinois, Carol Long of Romeoville, Illinois, and Carolyn Rhodes of Chicago, Illinois; many cousins including, George Caver of Chicago, Illinois, Anthony Rhodes of Chicago, Illinois, De Juanda "Wanda" Mathes of Chicago, Illinois, and Andrea Clinton of Chicago, Illinois; many nieces and nephews including, DeShawn Rhodes of Fort Smith, Brittany Rhodes of Houston, Texas, and Shamekia Rhodes of Fort Smith; along with numerous friends.
