Therman Williams, who resided in Barling, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at his home. He was born on September 26, 1948, in Elaine, Arkansas, to the late Eddie Williams and Mertie (Moses) Williams. He was 75 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Therman retired from Exide Battery in Fort Smith where he worked in maintenance. His hobbies were restoring old cars and trucks, spending time at the cabin, and spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 8th at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Chaplain John Hamby officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Peggy Sue (Box) Williams; a daughter, Sherry Marlar and husband John of Chester; a son, Michael Williams of Barling; two sisters, Jeanette Patterson and husband Robert of Barling and Pauline Martin of Jonesboro; one brother, Bulis Williams and wife Hazel of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, Tesa Kelly and husband Brandon, Loren Wiley, Haylee Williams, and Piper Morgan; and two great-grandchildren, Lilly Raymond and Brooks Kelly.

Pallbearers are Dwayne Williams, John Marlar, Glenn Patterson, Michael Rankin, Ritchie Rankin and Michael Williams.

The family will visit with friends prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 8th.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Antioch for Youth and Family, 1420 North 32nd St (PO Box 1571), Fort Smith, Arkansas.
