Obituary

Thelma Dean Kindrix Jones, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, went to meet her Lord, Friday, April 8, 2016, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born December 23, 1939, in Logan County, Arkansas near Paris to the late Albert Edward Kerr and Mary Magalene (Emery) Kerr. She was 76 years old. She was also preceded in death by husband, Vestel Kindrix; four sisters and one brother.

Thelma was a homemaker and worked at Correll, Inc. in Charleston for many years. She also worked many years as a seamstress at Ladyfair Mills near Ratcliff. She loved her pet dog, Tiny; beautiful day's, flowers, and all of her family.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13th, at Cedar Grove Cemetery, located south of Caulksville in Logan County, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Jeff Holland.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Jones; one daughter, Kathleen Harris and husband James of Van Buren; one son, Ronnie Kindrix and wife Anna of Charleston; two step-daughters, Susan Victoriano of Charleston and Melinda Dutton of Van Buren; two step-sons, Rickey Jones of Kibler and Jeffery Jones of Fort Smith; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Chu, Jose Kramer, Rudolfo Medrano, Olivia Dutton, Daniel Kindrix, and Nathan Kindrix.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
