Taylor Christine Phelps, age 15, resided at Charleston, Arkansas, departed this life on Friday, June 27, 2008, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born February 15, 1993 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was a 10th grade student of Charleston High School, member of the Charleston Dance Team, and was a member of the Lavaca First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Lavaca with the Reverend Terry Hurt officiating, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston. Her body will be cremated following the funeral service.

She is survived by her father, Michael Phelps of Needles, CA.; her mother, Hollie Hunter of Charleston; two sisters, Hannah Hunter of the home and Ally Phelps of Needles, CA.; two brothers, Trenton Hunter of the home and Drew Phelps of Needles, CA.; her paternal grandmother, Marty Johnson of Needles, CA.; her maternal grandparents, Jamey & Dian Johnson of Sherwood, Arkansas and Lynn Hartwick of North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Chris Dunham, Michael Dunham, Chuck Morgan, Cash Hartwick, Bo Johnson, and Marty Conley. Honarary Pallbearers will be "The Diva Girlfriends"

Family visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.

Taylor was Nana & Popies first grand joy and shining star. We love her dearly and will be truly missed!

A memorial will be established at the First National Bank under Taylor Phelps.
