Tara Renee Dees, who resided in Poteau, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born April 13, 1987, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late Keith Dees and Tammy Renee Branham Dees. She was 34 years old.

She is survived by her wife, Lacie of Poteau; four sons, Landen Curtis, Lakyn Meagley, Cassius Dees, and Leviathan Dees; a brother, Cody Sims of Poteau; and her step-father, Dennis Sims of Poteau.
