Tammy Jean Jergins, who resided in Lavaca, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on April 14, 1960, in Monroe, Oklahoma, to Anthony Stimac and Mattie Lou Thomas.  She was 62 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Johnnie Jergins; and a son, Joseph Smith.

Tammy was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter, Joanie Roberts of Central City; a son, Jeremy Smith of Lavaca; three sisters, Lynn Anderson, Joan Cunningham and Dana McDaniel; six brothers, Jim, Chuch, Joe, Tommy, Matt and Roy Stimac; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
