Obituary

Tammiejo Louise Young, who resided near Rudy, Arkansas, died Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Baptist Health Hospital in Van Buren, Arkansas. She was born July 12, 1964, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to Vernon L. Holsted and Zella Faye Barenberg Holsted. She was 56 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joey Andrew Young; her father, Vernon Holsted; and a brother, Danny Ray Holsted.

Tammiejo was a member of 88 Lone Elm Freewill Baptist Church in Rudy. She loved her family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew her.

A family held memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15th, at Mt. McCurry Cemetery near Rudy. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mike Ward.

She is survived by her son, Dustin Duprey and companion Deanna Betancourt of Rudy; her mother, Zella Holsted of Rudy; a step-son, Joseph Young of Texas; two step-daughters, Amanda and Elisha, both of Texas; five sisters, Pam Tollett and husband Mark of Rudy, Dallas Kiely and husband Mike of Rudy, Lashelle and husband Lee of North Dakota, Sheri Rickett of Missouri, and Angela Bieber and companion Justin of Mississippi; three brothers, Danny Lee Holsted of Rudy, Matt Holsted and companion Tiffany Mullis of Rudy, and Dale Holsted and Bob Francis of Fort Smith; fourteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
