Obituary
Susie Frances Barger, age 87 of Hope, Arkansas, formerly of Paris, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 in Hope. She was born January 26, 1925 in England, Arkansas to the late George Barger and Donia Sue (Sellers) Barger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Chesley Barger; two daughters, Donia Barger and Lillie Callahan; and five siblings.
Susie was a homemaker and member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Hope. She was a former member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Paris.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19th at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
Officiating the service will be the Rev. Eldon Thomas.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Melvin Dikeman of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tauna Collins of Hope, Arkansas and Luther Callahan, Jr. of Traskwood, Arkansas; seven great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Billy Johnson, Taylor Johnson Glen Collins, Dale Dikeman, Melvin Dikeman, Jeremy Greer, and Luther Callahan, Jr.
