Steven Glenn Waldrop

Steven Glenn Waldrop of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at his home. He was born on February 24, 1957, in Los Angeles, California, to the late Clarence W. "Sonny" Waldrop and Betty Jean (Edgmon) Waldrop. He was 69 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bobby Waldrop.

Early on in life, Steve worked in an autobody repair shop. He enjoyed fishing, but most of all listening and playing gospel music. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He loved his family very much and will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 5th at Rudy New Hope Church, 7817 AR 282 in Alma, Arkansas  72921, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston. The body will be cremated following the funeral service.

He is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Donna (Weaver) Waldrop; two sons, Christopher Waldrop  and Aaron Waldrop and wife Christina, all of Alma; two brothers, Timmy Waldrop and wife Victoria and Dennie Waldrop and wife Staci, all of Alma; and two grandchildren, Shaylin Waldrop and Elijah Waldrop.

Pallbearers are Christopher, Aaron, Timmy, Dennie, Elijah, Justin, and Austin Waldrop.
