Steve Seaton, 53, of Charleston died Thursday, February 7, 2008, in his home. He was born July 10, 1954, in Hope to William "Bill" Seaton and Gladys King Seaton. He worked for Seaton Construction Co., was a farmer, member of the Charleston Riding Club and member of the Charleston Freewill Baptist Church. Officiating the funeral service will be the Rev. Bill Van Meter and Rev. Paul King.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home of Charleston. He is survived by his wife, Veronica "Ronnie" Seaton of the home; two daughters, Nickole Bobbins and husband Evan of Lavaca and Taylor Seaton of the home; his father and mother, Bill and Gladys Seaton of Charleston; and one brother, Stan Seaton of Charleston.

Pallbearers will be Pete Strozier, Ted Parker, Mike Stiles, Mike Metcalf, Shane Storey, Frank Spanel.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tudy Loughridge, Marvin Holland Jr., David Rietman, Charlie Ketter, Ed Storey, Warren Burchfield, Jack Hewett, E.J. Neissl, Richard Keith.

The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
