Charles Steven Hoosier, who resided in Poteau, Oklahoma, died Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on August 6, 1966, in Thomasville, North Carolina, to William Henry Hoosier and Ella Mae (Beasley) Hoosier. He was 55 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Lori Jackson Hoosier, who passed away on November 22, 2021, and his mother, Ella Mae Hoosier.
Steve was a commercial HVAC contractor for Harrison Energy Partners. He was an U.S. Navy veteran and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his children, Andrew Hoosier and wife Lauren of Shady Point, Oklahoma, Evan Hoosier of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, and Mikayla Hoosier of Virginia; his father, Bill Hoosier of Thomasville, North Carolina; a brother, Randy Hoosier and wife Debbie of Thomasville, North Carolina; a sister, Jennifer Davidson and husband Jim of North Carolina; two granddaughters, Loretta and Natalie Hoosier.
