Stanley Glenn VanMeter of Charleston, Arkansas, died Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on May 15, 1962, in Fort Smith to the late Jimmy Joe VanMeter and Hilda Sue (Williams) VanMeter. He was 60 years old.

Stan retired from the oil and gas industry.

Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Bill VanMeter officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by two daughters, Destini Hatcher and husband Britt of Ozark and Kelly VanMeter of Bryant, Arkansas; one sister, Rhonda Clark and husband Steve of Charleston; two brothers, Terry VanMeter and Bryan VanMeter, both of Charleston; two granddaughters, Addison Whitson and Ashlynn Armer.
