Obituary

Stanley William Morris, Sr. of Caulksville, Arkansas, died Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on February 4, 1954, in Poplar, Montana, to the late Jackie Wayne Morris and Mary Marlene (Nees) Morris. He was 71 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Loretta (Pendergraft) Morris; two sons, Stanley William Morris, Jr. and Derek Shay Morris; his brother, Brad Morris; and a sister, Annette Morris.

Stanley was a 1972 graduate of County Line High School and was a team member of the 1971 County Line Basketball State Champions. He was a retired driller, hot shot tools, salesman in the oilfield industry. Stanley loved sports and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He loved his family and his community very much and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Natalie Foster and husband Chris of Caulksville; his companion, Judy Enslen of Caulksville; his sister, Janet Wurst and husband Ronnie of Branch; a step-son, Jeremy Enslen of Lavaca; a daughter-in-law, Alaina Broene of Fort Smith; three brothers-in-law, David Pendergraft and wife Patty, Curtis Pendergraft, and Joe Creek, all of Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Dillon Foster, Cameron Foster, Gabrial Enslen, and Jasper Enslen; and a great-grandson, Liam.

A family held "Celebration of Life" will be announced at a later date.

A private immediate family memorial was held on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
