Shirley Mae Griffith of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Sunday, January 1, 2023, at her home. She was born on December 21, 1937, in Keeseville, New York, to the late Charles LaBounty and Katherine (LaMere) LaBounty. She was 85 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Griffith; and two sons, Jimmy Minyard and Alan Lee Minyard.

Shirley was a homemaker and for several years was a city bus driver for Norwalk, California.

She is survived by three daughters, Juanita Utzman and husband Stan of Fort Smith, Linda Slatton of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Tina Rogers and husband Roger of Rialto, California; one son, Randy Minyard and wife Amy of North Dakota; a sister, Pat Wilkerson of Fort Smith; (14) grandchildren, (26) great-grandchildren, and (5) great-great-grandchildren.
