Shirley M. Box of Barling, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at her home. She was born on May 8, 1947, in Ripley, Mississippi, to the late Charlie H. Box and Etta Emily (Meeks) Box. She was 75 years old. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lorene Mitchell, and three brothers, Joe Wayne Box, Otis Box and Buddy Box.

Shirley was a caregiver.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by a sister, Peggy Williams and husband Therman of Barling; several nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with friends starting at 1:00 p.m. an hour prior to the service.
