Sherlyn A. Garcia, who resided in Wister, Oklahoma, died Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Booneville, Arkansas. She was born on September 14, 1956, in Fresno, California, to the late Corlis Marchbanks and Edith (Sampson) Marchbanks. She was 65 years old. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Garcia, and her brother, Verlyn Marchbanks.

Sherlyn was a homemaker. She was a loving mom and nana and will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her companion and best friend, her dog Molly; her children, Tony, Troy, Kristi, and Mary Garcia; two sisters, Glenda Wright and Claudia Sampson; her grandchildren, Davonte Garcia, Shylyn Garcia, Keshawn Jackson, Dasani Jackson, Brandon Westfall, Alonzo Westfall, Sydney Dawn, Seth Garcia, Anthony Stapleton, Aiyanna Morrison, and Daniel Wooten.
