She was born on January 13, 1947, in Amarillo, Texas, to the late Whitey Fuson and Laverne (McFarland) Fuson. She was 75 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Francis, and a brother, Keith Lee Fuson.

Sher was a private investigator.
