Shelba Jean Turley, of Charleston, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston. She was born on September 25, 1942, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to the late Rufus Calvin Chappell and Hazel (Hammonds) Chappell. She was 81 years old.

A family held memorial service will be at a later date.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Allen of Texarkana and Kimberly Stevens and husband Thomas of Yulee, Florida; two sons, Jeff Williams and wife Dee of Charleston and Bobby Phillips and wife Rena of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; one brother, Bobby Chappell and wife Connie of Northport, Florida; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
