On Saturday, April 4 ^th , 2020, the Lord called home Sharon Kay Jones at the age of 68. She was preceded in death by her parents, Basil and Geneva (Ball) Brinker; and one sister, Holly Brinker.

Sharon was a homemaker. She was a Godly woman who prayed daily and read her Bible everyday. She loved her family very much and her family loved her. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 48 years, Loyal Collins Jones and their three children, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild and five siblings.  A daughter, Janet Jones Carpenter and husband Carl Carpenter; a grandson, Ryan Evans and wife Marlie, and great-grandchild, Naomi Evans; a granddaughter, Ariana Evans; grandsons, Collin Evans, Jayke Evans and Kieran Carpenter; a son, Loyal Scott Jones and wife Souksy; a grandson, Loyal Conrod Jones; and granddaughter, Dao Valiant Jones; a son, Lloyd Collins Jones, and granddaughters Sierra Jones and Destiny Jones; her sisters, Norlene Rogers, Starlene Peck, and Brenda Burden; her brothers, Ronnie Brinker and Randy Brinker.

The family will be having a private family held service.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
