James Shannon Medsker of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at his home. He was born on October 9, 1975, in Bakersfield, California, to the late James Andrew Medsker and Christina Soriano. He was 48 years old.

Shannon was a barber.

He is survived by his daughter, Rissi Miller and husband Kody of Alma; his mother, Christina Soriano of Fort Smith; a sister, Eve Hernandez of Fort Smith; a brother, Damian Hernandez of Fort Smith; and three grandchildren, Lyric, Oaklan, and Konrad.
