Sarah Angeline (Stubblefield) White, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Friday, January 13, 2012 in Fort Smith. She was born October 11, 1937 in Vesta, Arkansas to the late Orb Allen Stubblefield and Emma Maud (Davis) Stubblefield. She was 74 years old.
She was also preceded in death by one infant sister, Mary Jane Stubblefield; three brothers, Orb, Jr., Homer T. "Tottie" Stubblefield, and Jerry Stubblefield; one grandson, Ryan Rambo.
Angeline was a member of the Vesta Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed hosting family dinners, visiting with friends, and her hobbies, sewing and quilting. She will be missed by her family and friends, but most of all by her husband of 50 years.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 17th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
Officiating the service will be Rev. Jonathan Payne and Danny Stubblefield.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Don of the home; one daughter, Diana Rambo and husband Benny of Lavaca; three sons, Don White, Jr. and wife Terrie of Charleston, David White of Charleston and Dennis White of Lavaca; two sisters, Faye Robertson and Regean Howard of Fort Smith; one brother, James Stubblefield and wife Shirley of Charleston; two sisters-in-law, Beulah Stubblefield of Cecil and Francis Stubblefield of Sacramento, California; five granddaughters, Brooke White and husband Steven Sims, Emma White, Ashley White, Elizabeth Mason, and Sarah Black; three grandsons, Jerrad Rambo, Don White, III, and Tyler Mason; two great grandsons, Bryce and Beau Sims; seven nieces, fourteen nephews, and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Larry Robertson, Travis Robertson, Gary Stubblefield, Jim Stubblefield, Jeff Stubblefield, and Joe Stubblefield.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mose Howard, Damon Howard, Ronnie Stubblefield, and Jay Stubblefield.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday night at the funeral home.
