Obituary

Sandra S. Cook, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, died Monday, May 1, 2023, at Covington Court Health and Rehab Center in Fort Smith. She was born on February 1, 1948, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late John Donagey Monday and Lucy Mae (Brewer) Monday. She was 75 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Wayne Cook, Sr.; two brothers, Jimmy Monday and Johnny Monday; and two sisters, Joyce Dowdy and Claudean Nichols.

Sandra was a homemaker and member of Bloomer Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 5th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Rev. Bill Wise and Rev. Jimmy Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Morris Cemetery in Bloomer, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by a daughter, Angela Bottoms and husband Kelly; a son, Robert Cook and wife Jennifer; two sisters, Barbara Fugett and Lucille Falwell; a brother, Mackey Don Monday; three grandchildren, Taylor Bottoms and fiance' Shanika Byrd, Sierra Bottoms, and Brandon Teague; and one great-grandchild on the way.

Pallbearers are Kelly Bottoms, Taylor Bottoms, Chase Lewis, Steve Meador, Mike Hamilton, and Patrick Pruitt.

The family will visit with friends Thursday, May 4th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
