Obituary
Sammy Bowman, who resided in Midway, Arkansas, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born January 25, 1947 in Midway, Arkansas to the late Arthur Bowman and Althia (Rhinehart) Bowman. He was 65 years old.
Sammy retired from Cloyes Gear Company, served in the National Guard, and was a member of First Assembly of God in Paris.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 14th at First Assembly of God in Paris, with Rev. David King officiating. Burial will be at Horne Cemetery, south of Midway, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Beck) Bowman of the home; one son, Shancey Bowman of Midway; one brother, Billy Joe Bowman of Paris, and one granddaughter, Bethany Bowman.
Pallbearers will be Shancey Bowman, Larry Parsons, Harold Davidson, Jim Beck, Tyler Beck, Ian Cargil and Bob Jasper.
Family will visit with friends 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
