Sam Williams, who resided near Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 in Fort Smith. He was born January 1, 1951 in Charleston to the late Charlie Clyde Williams and Leola Fay (Mantooth) Williams. He was 61 years old.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Judy Morris.
Sam was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.
Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30th at Tate Cemetery, located northwest of Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Buddy Corbell will officiate the service.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; one daughter, Samantha Williams of the home; one son, Kyle Williams of the home; two brothers, Larry Williams and wife Gay of Taylorsville, Kentucky and Danny Williams of Charleston.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Kelton, Johnny Harris, John Branch, Jerry Fisher, Roy Wilson, and Kenneth Wilson.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
